The EuropeActive Standards have been developed by the Professional Standards Committee, an independent standards-setting body, through extensive consultation with over 200 experts and volunteers over the last 18 years. Below are a series of extracts that summarise the occupational roles included in these standards as well as the scope and essential skills of these roles. The full versions of these standards are made available to all training providers making a full application to become an accredited provider of EuropeActive or on request to all EuropeActive members.

The EuropeActive standards have been informally referenced to the European Qualification Framework (EQF) by our experts and confirmed with their use through some national coordination points/national qualification frameworks (NQFs). The standards are intended to be developed into a qualification (based on units of learning outcomes) which can be used through NQFs. EuropeActive is taking a lead in this area are you are advised to contact us for the latest position.
